I hate apple, I hate iPod Nano, but I want to give them my $$$

The new Ipod Nano is so close to being the mp3 player for me its not even funny.

It has just about the right amount of space (I would like 5GB, but i can do 4GB)

It looks amazing, and the price is just about right.

BUT apple still refuses to put in a FM tuner, which I want because I want to listen to NPR, I love college radio, and a few community station are really good also. Now I can replace most of that with podcasts, but not all.

Also I really like being able to do voice recording. I go to many meetings, I enjoy going to lectures, I like being able to record various things. They still haven't included voice recording in any Ipod yet.

Lastly I would prefer to have a subscription service, then to buy the music forever. I like being able to rent music because it allows me to experience a wider variety of bands then I would useing the iTunes service. Hopefully Apple will put out a subscription based model along with the rest of the iTunes offerings. I'm sure apple would find a way to make their service even better then Napster or Yahoo!

In the end I am just hoping that the newest ipod will put serious pressure on the price of current Zen Micro's. That is the player I want, and if I can get it for $100, I will buy it.

UPDATE: I have found a few ipod addons that give me some of the functions i want, but untill they have both a fm tuner, and a voice recorder addon for the Nano, i'm not going to get one.
